Centurion is somewhat of a local success story – starting out from the ground floor over two decades ago to build and grow into one of the best mid-sized property management companies in the Willamette Valley. The company continues to look for ways to offer additional layers of service to the already robust offering of client services. Centurion specializes in the management of houses, plexes, apartment complexes, land, property and more. The company excels at property turnarounds and repositioning of properties as well as staying current with the local industry and trends.
Centurion Real Estate Management, LLC is a full-service property management company. We have years of experience in the business and are rapidly growing throughout the Mid-Willamette Valley. We manage everything from residential houses, small-plexes, condos, multifamily apartment complexes and large multifamily apartment communities as well as large commercial buildings.
Centurion specializes in customer service. We believe that personal and personable interaction with tenants helps to ensure a happy tenancy and fewer vacancies.
Our highly trained team of uniformed maintenance technicians are capable of handling all general maintenance work orders, along with a great network of outside vendors. We are available 24/7 to handle any “emergency”, however, we work hard at preventative maintenance and regular thorough on-site inspections to help eliminate problematic situations.
We strive for excellence and our goal is to be the best property management company in Oregon. Part of reaching this goal requires us to be very hands-on. Our job is to be the eyes and ears at the property and manage in an efficient, cost-effective manner and report back to the owners. Mendell Gosnell
Founder/Owner
Mendell Gosnell, the visionary behind Centurion Real Estate Management, LLC, has transformed a once modest operation into a leading property management company in the Willamette Valley. Starting as a real estate agent and onsite manager, Mendell began investing in rental properties in 2006. Learning from a seasoned landlord, he enhanced traditional practices with modern technology, turning Centurion into a state-of-the-art company known for its hands-on approach and exceptional service. Under his leadership, Centurion excels in managing diverse properties, focusing on investor success, client care, and tenant satisfaction.

Jesse Barnes
Operations Manager
As you'll read a little bit about me and my success in the real estate industry, I am even more proud of my life outside of real estate. My wife (Alli) and our three beautiful, strong, and smart kids (Olivia, Makenna, and Blake), are what I am most proud of.
My experience in real estate is not only well documented but a passion of mine. I come from a real estate investment background. Aside from being a real estate investor, I am the owner of Arise Real Estate Management (located in Redmond/Bend), and I am the Operations Manager for Centurion Real Estate Management located in Salem (one of the largest real estate investment management firms in Oregon which we have grown from 450 units when I started in 2015 to 2000 units today).
I also have a Business degree from Oregon State University (GO BEAVS). My clients have ranged from first-time buyers/sellers to seasoned investors looking to add to their portfolio or 10-31 into a different investment property.

Candace Craven
Financial Manager
Originally from a small farming community in the mid-valley. Attended the University of Idaho where she participated in Track & Field and got her bachelors in Business Management & Human Resources. She has been working with the company since its establishment. In the summer of 2016, she and her husband had their first child together. In the summer of 2020, they welcomed their second child, another beautiful baby boy. Candace is a licensed Principal Broker for Centurion, and main job focuses on helping the management side of Centurion where her duties include, finance, Human Resources, and handling owner questions.

Lorena Torres
Compliance Manager/Licensed Broker in Oregon
She is a mother of 3 teenage girls. She enjoys spending time with family, going camping and playing soccer. She has been in the real estate/real estate management industry since 2001 and has been with Centurion Real Estate Management, CL since inception. Of her many strengths and experience, she is also bilingual and looks forward to being able to help the Hispanic community with their housing/investing goals. She is very familiar with the rental market and as well as landlord-tenant laws which is an added benefit to her tenants/clients.

Julie Bradley
Office Manager
Originally from a small town near the Oregon Coast, got her start in property management with a local company and has been in the industry for 28 years. She has worked in every aspect of property management and is currently working as Corvallis’s branch office manager.

Chris Dotson
Maintenance Operations Supervisor
Chris is from a small town North of Eugene where he, his wife and son run a small farm and are active volunteers in their community. He has been in the construction industry for over 20 years, and has a background in restoration and remodeling with IICRC certifications in water restoration, fire restoration and crime scene and trauma cleanup. Currently he is the operations supervisor of the maintenance department at Centurion.

Bennett Cannon
Compliance Officer
He was born and raised in Oregon, went to college at Chemeketa CC where he worked and studied until he graduated. Bennett is currently the Compliance Officer of Centurion Management, he constantly works hard to do his best and to learn more about Property Management and property compliance. He would describe himself as beard, bald, brusque.

Melissa Bagg
Bookkeeper
Melissa was born in Anderson, Indiana, and currently resides in Oregon. She graduated from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. LBCC in Albany, Oregon. Since then she has worked as an Office Manager and Payroll Assistant and is now the Bookkeeper of Centurion Management, as well as a wife, mother, and grandmother of 11 lovely grandchildren. She is continuously learning about Property Management and would describe herself as short and kind.

Ashley Richarson
Leasing Manager
She was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon and has been here most of her life, except for college. She has a degree from Le Cordon Bleu in Hospitality and Restaurant Management. "While I still enjoy cooking and baking as a hobby, I enjoy working in Property Management more". Ashley has over 9 years of experience and every time she has left to try something new, she always finds herself coming back to Property Management. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two children, baking, painting, and enjoying the outdoors.

I am Sherry, and I have been with Centurion since 2023, where I assist with the tenant move-out process, including coordinating transitions. I focus on ensuring accuracy, fairness, and clear communication throughout each step of the process.

I’m Ana Martin, a Business Development Assistant at Centurion with over seven years of experience. For the past two years, I’ve been the first point of contact for prospective clients, helping property owners get started with our services.
I guide new clients through the onboarding process, provide key information about the service, and support them with any questions along the way to ensure a smooth and positive experience.

Leasing/Maintenance Coordinator
I’m Izzy Flores, and for nearly three years, I’ve managed key operations across Leasing and Maintenance at Centurion Real Estate Management. I oversee the end-to-end application process, ensuring strict compliance, liaising with applicants and housing agencies, and providing detailed reports to management. I also support marketing by handling inquiries, coordinating tours, and designing ad templates, flyers, and information sheets.
In maintenance, I coordinate after-hours emergencies, acting as the primary liaison for technicians and vendors to ensure rapid resolution. To optimize efficiency, I build advanced spreadsheets that streamline task management across both departments.

Ellie Ancheta

My name is Ellie, and I am a Finance Department Assistant at Centurion. With over two years in the company, I support daily financial operations, including payables, receivables, payroll review, and maintaining accurate tenant and owner accounts. I also assist with billing and offboarding processes, coordinate with vendors and title companies during property transitions, and respond to inquiries via phone and email. I oversee the company’s marketing strategy and advertising campaigns, working closely with owners to establish and maintain competitive pricing. My name is Carmen. I’ve been working for Centurion Real Estate Management for almost seven years as a Tenant Relations Assistant. On a day-to-day basis, I work closely with our tenants, helping them with questions related to their rent, managing the rent collection process, and guiding them through all the information regarding lease renewals and rent increases. This time that I’ve been working with Centurion has allowed me to build strong relationships with our residents and ensure our community runs smoothly every day.

Miguel Aguirre
Leasing Coordinator
My name is Miguel Aguirre, and I have proudly been part of Centurion Real Estate Management for the past 8 years. Throughout my time with the company, I have taken on several key responsibilities that support both our operations and resident experience. I oversee all lease renewals and resident communication related to renewals, while also working directly with property owners regarding rental market conditions and pricing recommendations. In addition, I manage the entry and processing of company bills and invoices, handle the posting of tenant and housing assistance payments, and supervise our YVR phone system to help ensure smooth day-to-day communication within the company. I am committed to being organized, dependable, and providing strong support to both our team and the residents we serve.

Sonia Romero
Administrative Assistant
My name is Sonia, and I work as a Weekend Customer Service Representative at Centurion Real Estate Management, where I manage weekend operations and act as the main point of contact for emergency maintenance dispatches and phone inquiries. I also support the administrative and accounting teams by processing work order billing, translating technician notes, and auditing completed jobs for proper photo and video documentation. Additionally, I create property maps for the maintenance department to help teams easily locate units for painting projects and identify community amenities. I've been with the company since 2021, and I am truly proud to be a part of this company.

Erick Pavon
Maintenance
I currently work in the maintenance department at Centurion. I have been part of the Centurion team for approximately three months, where I am responsible for receiving maintenance requests from tenants, assigning the appropriate technicians, and following up on each case until the maintenance work is completed.
I focus on maintaining good communication between tenants, technicians, and the internal team to ensure that repairs and services are completed efficiently and on time.
