Centurion is somewhat of a local success story – starting out from the ground floor over two decades ago to build and grow into one of the best mid-sized property management companies in the Willamette Valley. The company continues to look for ways to offer additional layers of service to the already robust offering of client services. Centurion specializes in the management of houses, plexes, apartment complexes, land, property and more. The company excels at property turnarounds and repositioning of properties as well as staying current with the local industry and trends.

Centurion Real Estate Management, LLC is a full-service property management company. We have years of experience in the business and are rapidly growing throughout the Mid-Willamette Valley. We manage everything from residential houses, small-plexes, condos, multifamily apartment complexes and large multifamily apartment communities as well as large commercial buildings.

Centurion specializes in customer service. We believe that personal and personable interaction with tenants helps to ensure a happy tenancy and fewer vacancies.

Our highly trained team of uniformed maintenance technicians are capable of handling all general maintenance work orders, along with a great network of outside vendors. We are available 24/7 to handle any “emergency”, however, we work hard at preventative maintenance and regular thorough on-site inspections to help eliminate problematic situations.

We strive for excellence and our goal is to be the best property management company in Oregon. Part of reaching this goal requires us to be very hands-on. Our job is to be the eyes and ears at the property and manage in an efficient, cost-effective manner and report back to the owners. Attention to detail and excellent communication are our specialties.

Mendell Gosnell

Founder/Owner

An OSU alumni. He is a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) and the institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and a Certified Property Manager (CPM). He has a passion for real estate and enjoys helping others succeed with their real estate investment goals.

  • He has a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University with a minor in business.
  • Since December, 2 2008 he has been a licensed contractor with the CCB (CC#184760).
  • Since beginning his career in the field of real estate he has gained an abundance of experience through doing several deals personally, helping others professionally, and with partners.

Financial Manager

Originally from a small farming community in the mid-valley about 40 minutes away from Salem. Attended the University of Idaho where she participated in Track & Field and got her bachelors in Business Management & Human Resources. She was hired by Centurion in 2010 and has been working with the company ever since. In the summer of 2016, she and her husband had their first child together. In the summer of 2020, they welcomed their second child, another beautiful baby boy.

Candace is a licensed Principal Broker for Centurion, and main job focuses on helping the management side of Centurion, where her duties include, finance, Human Resources, and handling owner questions.

Lorena Torres

Compliance Manager/Licensed Broker in Oregon

She is a mother of 3 teenage girls. She enjoys spending time with family, going camping and playing soccer. She has been in the real estate/real estate management industry since 2001 and has been with Centurion Real Estate Management, CL since inception. Of her many strengths and experience, she is also bilingual and looks forward to being able to help the Hispanic community with their housing/invest- ing goals. She is very familiar with the rental market and as well as landlord-tenant laws which is an added benefit to her tenants/clients.

Bookkeeper

Melissa was born in Anderson, Indiana, and currently resides in Oregon. She graduated from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. LBCC in Albany, Oregon. Since then she has worked as an Office Manager and Payroll Assistant and is now the Bookkeeper of Centurion Management, as well as a wife, mother, and grandmother of 5 lovely grandchildren. She is continuously learning about Property Management and would describe herself as short and kind.

He was born and raised in Oregon, went to college at Chemeketa CC where he worked and studied until he graduated. Bennett is currently the Compliance Officer of Centurion Management, he constantly works hard to do his best and to learn more about Property Management and property compliance. He would describe himself as beard, bald, brusque.

Originally from a small town near the Oregon Coast, got her start in property management with a local company and has been in the industry for 28 years. She has worked in every aspect of property management and is currently working as Corvallis's branch office manager.

Maintenance Manager

Originally from Texas, Raechel got her start in property management there. She moved to Oregon part time initially, but then fell in love with the mid- Willamette valley and all that it has to offer. She started working for Centurion in early 2020 and brings years of property management experience with her. She is currently working as the Maintenance Supervisor and has aspirations of one day owning her own management company. She loves this work so much. She is currently a licensed Broker in the State of Oregon. Early in 2021, she extended her beautiful blended family with a baby girl.

David has been with the company for two years; he handles day to day processing and scheduling of work orders, works closely with our maintenance technicians, office staff, owners and vendors. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family and seeking new adventures outdoors.

Zahai is an International Logistics Engineer, he graduated in 2020. In his free time, Zahai likes to work out, hiking, running, listening to music, and walking his dog Shelby (he loves animals). He enjoys drawing and loves learning new languages. He speaks English, Spanish, French and is just starting to learn Russian. Zahai’s skills include managing business projects and logistics activities, overseeing domestic and international movement of goods, and developing customer service and sales strategies. Zahai enjoys helping others as much as possible.

Maria graduated with an Engineering in Organizational Process, she also has a Master in Business and Administration, she currently lives in Monterrey, Mexico. In her spare time she enjoys taking long walks at the park with her dog, cooking, learning new things, she also really enjoys traveling with her husband and learning about new cultures. She assists by processing security deposit refunds, billing work orders, receiving and processing 30-day notices, providing rental references, etc.

Erick likes spending time with his family, loves to travel, enjoys automotive paint and restoration, loves to make music, and is very artistic. Erick’s skills include computer animation graphic design, sales customer service, and management.

Juan Estrada grew up in Los Angeles, California. He has 4 beautiful kids that he considers his life. He is a sports guy, but what he loves the most is basketball, football, and baseball. “I have more than a year here with Centurion in the marketing department. In my free time, I enjoy taking my kids to the park and playing ball.”

Originally from Mexico. Graduated from McLane High School in Fresno, California where he was part of the Senior Soccer team all 4 years. Miguel was hired by Centurion in 2018. “In my spare time, I like to go on road trips with my daughter. I also enjoy dancing salsa and playing soccer.”

Weekend Client Support Specialist

Sonia has been working for Centurion Real Estate Management since August of 2020. She has a bachelor of general studies and a degree of education. She is one of the weekend specialists and also helps out billing work orders for the finance department. Some of her hobbies are spending quality time with her family, dancing and swimming.
